What is an accommodation rep?

Accommodation Reps represent students in their halls of residence, working with their accommodation team and the Students' Union (SU) to tackle any issues that emerge in their halls. They also help develop a sense of community in their halls and help engage students in the work of the SU. You can check out a full description for the role below.

Make sure you've confirmed you're happy with your accommodation provider sharing your details with us so we can confirm you're resident in the right halls - check in with your accommodation team or email su.democracy@uos.ac.uk if you're unsure or need help with this!
Already decided you're running to be an accommodation rep? Make sure to then check out our candidate handbook below, as well as the Rep Charter that all reps sign up to.
