It's that time of year again - officer elections!
Once a year we elect the part-time and full-time officers of the Students’ Union – these are the students that lead the union throughout the year, and represent you to the university and beyond. Do you have what it takes to lead your Union?
Part-time officers are volunteers that are expected to commit no more than a few hours a week to their role. These are split into campus officers (that represent a specific campus) school officers (that represent their academic school or department) and liberation officers (who represent a certain liberation group, such as women, or students with disabilities).
Full-time officers are paid officers that work full time to represent students at the university.
Nominations for all roles are open now until February 28th. We'll be hosting a range of training workshops for anyone interested in standing to be a candidate - keep your eyes peeled on our website and social media for more news on these. Not interested in running, but know someone who would do a great job? Recommend them and if they run you'll both receive a hoodie!
Voting week will then be the 8-14th March.
