Creating Wildlife Gardens on Campus
Wed 17 Mar 2021 - Thu 30 Sep 2021
University of Suffolk Campus
Do you want to get involved in making the university campus more nature-friendly?
The Wildlife Society works on creating Wildlife Gardens in collaboration with Justine Oakes, the sustainability manager at the University of Suffolk, and Carrie R. a Conservation Graduate. The plan is to bring in native plant species, restrict mowing, creating wildflower areas for invertebrates, establish shelter, feeding- and hibernation grounds to hedgehogs and connect the gardens with the nearby nature reserve Brickmakers Wood.
