Pilates offers a world of benefits, meditative properties, a strengthened core, leaner muscles, flexibility, and a nice toned body. And the best bit of it is that you only need a pair of leggings or jogging bottoms and to turn up. The class is run in the evening by an experienced instructor and is aimed at everyone, even if you’ve never done it before. Due to the relaxing nature of Pilates, it’s not a particularly taxing form of exercise, most of the time being spent laid on a mat (which will be provided for you). But is perfect if you’re looking to tone up and wind down on a budget.
It’s every Monday, it's located in the Goals Sport Centre (Room 2) and starts at 5:15 for an hour. It costs just £1 for students and £3 for members of the public.
