We’ve got a full calendar of events for Welcome Week, designed to help you settle in, try new things, and have loads of fun:
🍳 The Big SU Breakfast – Meet your SU team and kick off your first week the right way to get you fuelled up for the days ahead.
🎁 Welcome Fayres and Showcases – Your one-stop shop for freebies, giveaways, local discounts, and the chance to meet clubs, societies, and community groups.
🍹 Tipsy Trail (Ipswich) – Explore some of the best bars in town with your new friends
🎨 Craft & Connect – Hosted by our friendly Advice Team, this chilled creative session is perfect for meeting people while making something crafty to take home.
📚 Secret Story Café – A cosy space for a blind date with a book
🏀 Give it a Go Sports Sessions – Try a sport for the first time or get back into an old favourite — no pressure, just good vibes and friendly competition.
🛋️ The Big SU Night In – Pyjamas, pizzas and a movie — the perfect way to wind down and connect with your new SU family.
