Ready to start making plans for Welcome? The tickets for our welcome events are now available to buy, and the whole week costs just £31 if you come to all our ticketed events

Whether you're looking for a big night out, somewhere to meet new people, or just something fun to do during your first few days, there's plenty to get involved with.

Tickets are expected to be popular, so don't leave it until the last minute to grab yours.

Welcome is all about meeting people, trying something new and settling into student life — so get involved, bring your mates (or come along and make some new ones) and make the most of your first few weeks.

The Big SU Quiz: 22nd September; TBC; Come along and get quzzical with the SU team!

Secret Story Cafe: 23rd September; Roots Community Cafe, 1 Museum Street, Ipswich; Step into our cosy literary hideaway for a Blind Date with a Book - no titles, no covers, just a few intriguing clues and a whole lot of mystery. Come for the coffee. Stay for the story. Leave with new literary friends.

Drag Bingo at the Big SU Night Out: 25th September; Escape Club, Ipswich; Get ready for Drag Queen Bingo at Escape! Hosted by Ivanna Drink from RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, there will be bingo, laughs, a drag show, great prizes, 20% off drinks and entry to Escape at 9pm
