Holywells Park

 

Holywells Park consists of 67 acres of parkland close to the Waterfront and is a great day out for families. Holywells Park is a County Wildlife Site, a Conservation Area with two listed buildings – the Stable Block and Conservatory – and is on the English Heritage Register of Historic Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest. There is a state of the art child’s play area, ducks to feed and picnic areas. There are plenty of trails and different kinds of wildlife to keep your kids entertained for hours. Bounce Indoor Trampoline Park

Its half term, the kids are bored and bouncing off the walls, let them burn some of that energy at Bounce! The Bounce parks consist of differing courts including the Main Arena, Dodgeball Court, Kids Court, Slam Dunk Area, Foam Pit, Airbag Jump, Touch Walls, Gladiator Pits and Tumble Tracks, as well as an arcade and party rooms! Bounce even offers sensory sessions for children with special needs. Every child’s favourite way to let out steam is at a ballpark! Partyman world offers off-peak prices and memberships. There is even a toddler area for guests under the age of 3 years. Crown Pools

What kid doesn’t love swimming? As the biggest leisure facility in Ipswich, Crown Pools offers a range of indoor facilities including gym, sauna, competition pool and leisure pool with a wave machine and numerous children’s activities. Crown Pools is located near the bus station in the town centre.

 

Baylham House Farm

Baylham House Rare Breeds Farm is in the middle of the beautiful county of Suffolk in Eastern England and is a small livestock farm breeding farm animals that were once common but are now very rare. Bring your whole family to the farm to meet the pigs, feed the goats and let the kids loose in the play area whilst you settle into the calm surroundings with a piece of homemade cake or a cream tea. Visit their website for more information.

 

Superbowl UK

Want a family day out that everyone can enjoy? Superbowl UK have opened a brand new bowling alley along with an arcade and ninja tag inside the Buttermarket, right in the heart of Ipswich. Bourne park

Bourne Park is a great open space with a newly refurbished play area and paddling pool, both of which officially re-opened in May 2018. With a beach theme, the play area features a pirate ship and sandcastle multiclimb frame, whale and penguin rocks and a boat rocker. The surface is designed to look like the sea, with fish, crabs and a 3D shark.
