The University of Suffolk and the SU are celebrating Black History Month with your BAME Liberation Officer Jay Chandler. As part of these celebrations we are holding a Black history themed competition for you to share and showcase your amazing talent!

 

 

The themes:

Remember. Educate. Celebrate.

Your entry must fit within these themes. It should remember black history, educate people on the importance of black history, or celebrate black history from your perspective (or all three).

There are four categories:

· Poetry

· Blog (max 800 words)

· Drawing/painting (with materials or digitally)

· Photography

There will be one winner for each category. The prize includes 1 book, a BHM T-shirt and a £10 amazon voucher.

Furthermore, the shortlisted candidates in all categories will have their work displayed on BAME and SU Webpages for 1 year.

The competition is open to all.

The submission closes on Friday 29th October 2020 and winners will be announced on Friday 30th October 2020.
