Part-time Students Officer

Represents part-time students across the University of Suffolk, running campaigns and events for these students and generally ensuring their voice is heard. This role is one of our Liberation Officer roles, so check the 'Liberation Officer Role Description' below for further details.

 

Postgraduate Officer  

Represents postgradute students across the University of Suffolk, working closely with the postgrauate course reps and running campaigns and events for these students and generally ensuring their voice is heard. This role is one of our Liberation Officer roles, so check the 'Liberation Officer Role Description' below for further details.

 

Bury Campus Officer 

Represents Univerity of Suffolk students studying at Bury Campus, working with staff and course reps at Bury to tackle student issues there. Sits on Student Council and Student Officer Committee, the two groups that set the direction and priorities of the Students' Union. This role is one of our Campus Officer roles, so check the 'Campus Officer Role Description' below for further details.

 

East Coast College Officer

Represents Univerity of Suffolk students studying at Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth campuses, working with staff and course reps at Bury to tackle student issues there. The President roles in the SU are full-time, paid roles - it is their full time job to represent students and lead the SU! They also become a trustee of the SU, a director of our commerical arm and sit in senior university meetings.
 

The President Education focuses on tackling academic issues that students face, aiming to improve the educational experience students have whilst at UOS, working closely with our School Officers and course reps to achieve this.

The President Activities and Wellbeing supports the development of sports and societies, and campaigns on issues related to wider student wellbeing whilst at university. They work closely with sports and societies, and with our team of Liberation Officers.

School Officers represent students' academic interests across their school, working closely with course reps to tackle school-wide issues. They also sit on Student Council and Student Officer Committee, helping lead the SU through these meetings, and attend Course Rep Forum, where they work with your course reps to identify any school-wide issues.
