If you're thinking about running for election as a Student Officer but have no idea where to start - you’re not alone.

This January and February, we’re running four new Election Workshops to help you out. They are designed to support students who are interested in standing for election, whether you’re just curious or already thinking about campaigning.

These sessions will help you figure things out step by step, and you can expect:

  • Expert guidance from people who know student elections inside out

  • Interactive sessions where you can ask questions and get practical advice

  • A supportive community of other students who are thinking about running too

Each workshop focuses on a different part of the election and campaign process, giving you the confidence and skills to put yourself forward.  The events are all free, and you don't need to book, you can just come along on the day. You don't have to come to all four either, you can pick and choose the ones which are most relevant to you.

If you want to make a difference on campus but don’t know how to begin, this is a great place to start. Come along, learn more, and see if being a Student Officer could be for you.
