It was great to see our students getting involved with our University Mental Health Day activities today (Thursday 12 March).
There was a choice of random fidget toys and sweets – great for those about to sit down to some chunky assignment work. Other people settled for some colouring in their lunch break and spent some time focused away from a screen.
Our opinion polls revealed that 74% of you enjoy hanging out with friends to improve your mental health, whilst favourite activities included events with pizza, people-watching in cafes and cuddling a cat called Chungus!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and we hope all our students have been able to make the most of their human connections – which was the theme of this year’s University Mental Health Day.
