January can feel long, grey, and overwhelming – especially if you've had a relaxing winter break. That’s why the Students’ Union is launching a new wellbeing campaign to brighten up your days with some wholesome events to help you recharge and reconnect.

Be kind to yourself. Prioritise wellbeing before burnout.

Throughout January, we’re hosting a series of free and low-cost events designed to brighten up dull winter days and give you a well-deserved break from deadlines, stress, and routine.

We’re kicking things off on Blue Monday (19 Jan) with a Vision Board event, giving you the chance to reflect, reset, and focus on what you want from the months ahead in a relaxed, supportive space.

Other wellbeing highlights include:

  • Lunch & Colour at Wagamama’s – enjoy good food and mindful colouring in a calm, social setting

  • Blind Date with a Book – discover a new read and take some time away from screens

  • Cake, Coffee & Hot Chocolate Crawl – explore some of Ipswich’s favourite cafés while catching up with friends (and treating yourself!)

Whether you join us for one event or try them all, this campaign is all about small moments of joy, connection, and self-care. Taking time for your wellbeing isn’t a luxury – it’s essential.

Limited tickets are available, so book yours now on our wellbeing events page
