Want to make a real impact on student life at Suffolk? As a Student Trustee at UOSSU, you’ll help shape the long-term and strategic direction of the Students’ Union, ensuring it remains student-led, sustainable, and impactful.
You’ll work alongside student, external, and officer trustees as part of the Board of Trustees – the Union’s highest decision-making body. The Board oversees the charity’s finances, legal compliance, and long-term goals, and your perspective as a current student plays a crucial role in making sure the Union truly represents Suffolk students.

The Board of Trustees meets 4–6 times per year, with a mix of online meetings and in-person meetings on the Ipswich Campus.
