This October, the University of Suffolk Students’ Union is proud to celebrate Black History Month.

The UK theme for 2025 is “Stand Firm in Power and Pride”— a chance to recognise the strength, culture, and achievements of Black communities. Throughout the month, we’ll be hosting events and sharing stories that amplify Black voices and experiences. Black history isn’t just for one month; it’s part of all our history.

We’re pleased to share that the Anti-Racism Collective at the University of Suffolk is supporting and helping to fund these events, ensuring they have the impact and reach they deserve.
