UoS Midwifery Conference

The Midwifery Society are hosting their annual midwifery conference; the theme is Birth Trauma. Rates of Birth Trauma are rising, mothers and families across the UK are impacted by the effects of this, making this a public health issue. Families need to be heard. 

This conference aims to address contributing factors, raise awareness and what should be implemented into practice to prevent and support people with Birth Trauma.

Guest speakers: Mark Harris, Dr Rebecca Moore and Karen Henry are presenting at the conference with more speakers TBA.

CPD certificates are provided for registered professionals, so the conference is a great opportunity to build your portfolio for revalidation.

One midwifery society membership is valid to purchase one ticket, any further tickets must be purchased at uos student prices if you are a current student.
