Before you head out to one of our Welcome Week events, we've pulled together some information to help you know what to bring and what to expect. Please keep an eye on our website and socials during the week in case there are updates.
🎓 Bring your student ID to events – we’ll need to check you’re a student when you arrive.
📱 Have your ticket ready on your phone when you arrive at events.
🪪 Heading to an evening event? Bring valid photo ID, such as a driving licence or passport, so we can check your age if needed.
📍 Check the website for event times and locations before you set off.
⏰ Know when the event ends – SU events finish at the time advertised. You may be able to stay at the venue afterwards, but there won’t be SU staff there. If you need help, speak to a member of venue staff.
💛 Look out for each other – stick with your mates, make sure everyone gets home safely, and don’t be afraid to step in if someone needs a hand.
