STUDENT VOICE EVENTS

During the academic year your SU puts on many social activities and events for you to enjoy. We know you are all different so whether you are a student parent, a party animal, international student or doing an MBA, there is something for everyone. Want to add your suggestion for an event then message us thought our social media or email directly to su@uos.ac.uk.

Accessibility

Your SU are committed to making as many of our events accessible to everyone. When events are held in the Social Space, our promise to you is step-free access to the venue, a lift for access to the second floor, accessible and gender-inclusive toilets, and reduced lighting and sound options for sensory requirements.

We welcome guests who have specific medical or dietary needs and are more than happy to accommodate your requirements. Please contact us in advance to advise us if you are planning to attend an event and have any questions.

UOS SU is more than happy to provide personal assistant/carer tickets free of charge. Please contact us to make arrangements in advance.

We are also working towards making all of the venues we work with externally as accessible as possible, and all venues will have step-free or ramp entrances, alongside accessible toilets, where possible.

We do occasionally use latex balloons at our events, if you have an allergy please enquire beforehand and we will try to accomodate your needs.
