The Staff and Student Awards is an annual event where the University staff and students come together to celebrate the year's achievements and successes. 

The Students’ Union received all nominations submitted by students and here is the full list.

Most Inspiring Lecturer of the Year Nominees

Has your lecturer helped you achieve more than you thought you could? Have they encouraged you to progress and succeed in your studies or career? Have they taught you in new, different or engaging ways that have encouraged you to know more?

Staff and Student Awards 2019 – WINNERS!

 

It is a great pleasure to announce the winners of a Staff or Student Award 2019.  The Awards, were announced at the Awards Dinner on the evening of Thursday 23 May 2019.

“Is an amazing clinical skills tutor, not only does his vast knowledge come across but also his enthusiasm and passion for teaching.”

 

Lecturer of the Year

Dr Mohammad Sabuj, Lecturer in Law

“Is an active researcher who uses his research in his teaching and, is probably the only person in the School who has used the computer-based feedback and mark system rubrics.”

Sarah Richardson, Senior Lecturer in Learning Disabilities Nursing

“Goes above and beyond to ensure her students feel supported and has guided the programme through a challenging time with the commencement of apprenticeships.”
