  • Nominations open: 10am on Monday 6 October
  • Nominations close: 10am on Friday 17 October 
  • Voting opens: 10am on Monday 20 October
  • Voting closes: 12noon on Friday 24 October

Results will be announced once votes have been counted.

By-Elections held in October 2025 for the following Part Time Officer Roles: LGBTQ+ Officer BAME Officer Part-Time Students Officer Student with Disabilities Officer Postgraduate Officer

5 posts are up for election.

Nominations close at 10:00 on Friday 17 October 2025 (in 9 days)

The polls open at 10:00 on Monday 20 October 2025 (in 12 days)

What roles are available?

The following Part Time Officer roles are available:

  • LGBTQ+
  • BAME (Black and Minority Ethnic)
  • Part-Time Students
  • Student with Disabilities
  • Postgraduate

You must be a current student of University of Suffolk in order to take part in these elections. For each role you must also meet the requirements of the role in order to run for this position - for instance only postgraduate students can run for the School Officer of Nursing, Midwifery and Public Health.

 

Why should I be a part time officer?

Our part time elected officers carry out their roles whilst they are studying at the University of Suffolk. As well as championing the views of students around the University, you'll benefit from developing skills such as event management and public speaking which can be used throughout your future.
