The Film Society invites students to meet once a week to watch and discuss films; dissecting what it means to watch a film, what the film is conveying, and what it says about the conditions of the world to influence the film.
By examining films under a specific “monthly theme,” members and representatives create a unique line-up of screenings to not miss!
Membership Fee
Members will pay a yearly fee of £5, giving access to all screenings, events, and a discord server dedicated to the society. Members will also be able to recommend films to play for each month.
Furthermore, all money gained from the membership fee will go to funding films the University or the members of Film Society don’t have access to.
Non-members will pay a fee of £1 per individual screening. Proceeds will similarly be donated to building the University’s film library.
