Hi my name is Jamie Steele. I due to start my 3rd year in adult nursing in September. I have been elected as your current health and sports science officer. I have previously taken on other roles within the university and students union such as course rep, student mentor, tiktok creator, LGBT+ well- being officer and I became a member of the democratic procedures committee. I have also been lucky enough to take part in presenting talks to students in Japan and have even had an article printed about me in the local newspaper (all positive!). 

I am really excited to be working alongside you all on my current manifesto points and any new things that pop up. As most of us that work in healthcare, I love to help others. I am a good listener and I’m pretty good at being the middle man between the university, students and placments, I want to make sure that all course reps are supported and that everyone is getting a voice.
