Your wellbeing is of paramount concern to your SU. We want to make sure every student enjoys the best student experience, but we know that sometimes there are obstacles to this. Whether you're suffering with a mental illness, low mood, or going through some personal challenges, we are here to provide support and help.
What is active wellbeing?
Active Wellbeing is a scheme that offers social sports sessions designed to boost general wellbeing and mood. Once you've compeleted six sessions, you'll recieve a prize equal to the cost of a social sports membership.
Students who have low mood, depression, anxiety or may be facing related issues can apply for this program using this link.
We believe that ‘using participation in sport and physical activity, students and staff across Higher Education can support students’ mental health, enhancing their university experience and improving their psychological wellbeing’.
Ask anyone from your SU, or from Student Support Services about the Active Wellbeing program. If you think you could benefit, we would love to support you and help you to improve your wellbeing!
