Student Council

What is Student Council? Well, it is kind of a big deal....


Student Council is the sovereign policy-making body of the Students' Union. Each year, its members including, Course Reps, Student Activity groups (societies and sports), and the Student Officer Team. 

Students can bring an idea, called a motion (submit one below), that aims to change something or asks the Students' Union to take a stance on something. 

The meeting takes place 5 times a year and holds 1 AGM at the end of the year, all of which starts at 1:30 pm on the following dates and finish at approx 3:30 pm.

SU Policy has a life cycle of three years. After three years the Annual General Meeting decides whether to let a policy lapse or to continue that policy.
