We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with SilverCloud, a leading provider of digital mental and behavioural health programmes.
Partnering with SilverCloud was a particular initiative suggested by our Students’ Union (Vice President, Amy Grant), whose vision and collaboration has been key to bringing this to fruition. Our new Students’ Union Vice President, Mauro Cardosa said, “The SU are delighted that Silvercloud is now available to our members. Wellbeing is a priority for us as an organisation and we hope that students will use the platform to help take care of themselves as they balance study and other commitments in the current environment.”
We are launching a range of online, CBT-based (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) wellbeing programmes that staff and students can access free and independently.
The following programmes are now available:
· Space from COVID-19
· Space from Stress
· Space for Resilience
· Space for Sleep
· Space from Money Worries
Each programme is interactive, and you can tailor to your specific needs. Access to SilverCloud is embedded within MySuffolk Wellbeing, along with lots of relevant information on services and resources to support you. Please register using your University of Suffolk email address.
We are keen to continue to develop and further embed this resource into the services we provide and the student experience; and are actively working towards introducing coached support for students completing either wellbeing or mental health programmes. More information on this initiative will follow in due course.
