It is open to all Students’, and placements are advertised each semester. As an SU Intern, you are given the opportunity to enhance your CV to help you stand out from the crowd in today’s highly competitive jobs market.

Your SU Internship Scheme will see you complete two placements, the first with the SU and the next at the University. Internships are flexible to fit around academic studies. They are usually about 3 months long for a maximum of 8 hours per week during term time and holiday periods.
How does it work?

SU Interns are paid £7.50 per hour (£7.83ph from April). As part of the placement, you are expected to complete online training in Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, Sustainability, Data protection and IT. Other training can be requested as available that would be applicable to each individual placement.
