Located on St Peter's Street, this little coffee shop is a gem. It looks small, but once you enter it opens up. With friendly staff, great cakes and inside seating during the winter, and outside seating in a beautiful garden during the summer, this is a coffee shop you won't forget.

Located in the Walk in the town centre, fishface is more than just a cafe. Fishface also sells a variety of crafts from local creators as well. All their cakes and lunches are fresh and homemade, and they sell a variety of vegan options too. Their coffee is great, but they also sell fresh milkshakes and smoothies too, which are definitely worth a try.

On Neptune Quay on the waterfront (just a minute or two from the waterfront building) is Coffee Link. Perfect for a coffee break and a great cup of coffee, this cafe is a great place to wind down with a great view of the marina. Why not check it out on your break and see for yourself?

If you want a familiar name, you have your pick of two costas in the town centre, Carr Street or Queens street. They have well trained Baristas who work quickly and a variety of traditional cafe and seasonal drinks. They sell toasted lunches and always have a wide selction of cakes and milks to choose from.

Another familiar name, and proud of their itallian style coffee. Located in upper brook street, Cafe nero do great hot drinks and have a comfortable interior with plenty of sofas. They sell a variety of sandwiches and toasted lunches and always have a decent sized cake slice for you to treat yourself with. With a well lit interior, it's a great place to study too.
