Each year the National Union of Students (NUS) holds its annual conference where Students' Unions across the country come together to discuss and vote on ideas to improve the student experience at a national level.
Want to see more support with the cost of living crisis? Passionate about fighting climate change? Have strong views on any other issue affecting students nationally? Then this is the conference for you!
Being a delegate at this conference will give you great networking opportunities, the chance to develop lots of skills and enhance your CV, and the chance to make a last difference to the lives of students across the country. Your Students' Union will support you in gathering the views of Suffolk students and with guidance and research ahead of conference too. All accommodation, travel and food costs are covered by the SU too! Conference is on March 15-16th, so delegates will need to be free to attend on those days.
Nominations to be a delegate for UOS Students' Union are now open here. Nominate yourself from October 31st below - deadline is November 18th.
Please note: Due to NUS requirements that at least 50% of delegates must identify as women, 2 of these 3 delegate roles we are electing will have to self-identify as women.
